The 2006 national report on Recommended Education Benchmarks for Builders and Renovators prompted the Canadian Home Builders' Association of BC (CHBA BC) to create a professional builder program that would meet or exceed national standards.

Building on CHBA BC's success, OHBA, through the OHBA Institute of Building Excellence, is now offering an Ontario version of these courses specific to the needs of our members. The variety of learning opportunities through these easily accessible on line courses will provide business and management skills needed for those entering the business of building and renovating and provide timely updated information for seasoned members. Your company's successful completion of all 12 courses will earn you the designation of Master Builder or Master Renovator, a certification that sets you apart and elevates your status in the industry.
